Tinder wants to hook you up with a presidential candidate

Tinder and Swipe the Vote

Choosing the next President of the United States isn’t a choice voters should take lightly. After all, the US President could be in your life for up to 8 years. That’s significantly more time than many relationships last.

The relationship, dating, and hookup app realizes it’s a big commitment and that’s why the company is offering the chance to “hookup” with your right choice for President.

The company’s new Swipe the Vote feature launched in the US on Wednesday. With a few flicks of a finger, Tinder users who are still undecided can quickly find out which presidential candidate they should vote for.

The app asks users to agree or disagree on ten current issues, such as same-sex marriage, legalization of marijuana, and the death penalty.

Based on a users answers they are provided with a potential match and access to the issues they care about.

Users can compare policy responses from each candidate to choose the best person to vote for.

The COVID-19 Rebate Check Is In the Mail -- Almost

After Tinder members input their opinions, Tinder will display their presidential candidate match. It shows four runners up and a percentage score for how much they share your views.

Once you have a match simply tap on a candidate to see exactly what you disagree on and read a short bio for your potential candidate of choice.

Given the apps younger demographics I suspect there will be a lot of matches for Bernie Sanders.
