So who cares ?? Does anybody take a narcissist with a bad comb-over seriously ?? All he wants you to do is watch his show so he can get paid. I’d rather read a good book.

One other thing–I think it’s a mistake to replace George and Carolyn with Donald’s kids. George and Carolyn have credibility from their experience and background. The “silver spoon” kids have none of that. I wouldn’t listen to them give advice or evaluate business!

Although I was sad to hear Carolyn was fired, however, it does sound like she was branching out into so many different areas, that if Donald is paying her the big bucks to give time to the show and run the golf facility and she’s not focused on that as her first priority it’s a legitimate point.

I had a professional, mid-level employee who starting getting involved in so many activities outside of work I had to talk with him because he started scheduling his business trips and work committments when it was convenient based on everything else, not the other way around and it was becoming a problem. Now, bfore you say I’m a tyrant, I was very flexible–like to see people placing importance on family and having a life outside of work, but there is a limit. If the company is paying an employee full time, etc. and your other interests are hobbies, etc. the company that’s supporting your family and paying the bills–that should be the first priority and other items should fit into free time or not constantly interfere with the main job they are being paid to do.

I thought Carolyn had good comments and evaluations on the show. Like many of you, I watched the first two seasons and that was it.

I watched the first two seasons hoping to see real management and leadership skills put to the test. I found neither–not even in the board room.

Carolyn failed to fulfill her responsibilities and she was fired. It is really that simple. No need to become hysterical over her failure. Any accountable executive would have sent her packing.

They could have renamed that show The Narcissist after Season 2. I think you’re right, Rob, about Trump maximizing the PR value of Carolyn’s “ouster”.
