Lela, just finishing a novel that people enjoy in the first place is a huge accomplishment. Your gut is absolutely right. Keep going! I've heard so many stories of authors being rejected, getting depressed to the point of burning their manuscripts, etc., and then FINALLY getting their work into print. Sometimes it happens through a fluke, but it seems like there's always some pushback in the process. If you've gotten this far...keep going, sista! ps. Can we see your synopsis once it's done?
