After about 3 months of therapy, I'm now approaching my second surgery. Luckily, it has been covered completely by workmen's compensation, but at the pricey bill of about $20,000. How healthcare isn't a natural born right like education I don't know. The fact that you have to negotiate the costs of a medical procedure escapes me. I wouldn't even know where to begin!
