I hate to see this. I spent several years at Lexmark as an engineering co-op, and eventually gained enough favor with my mangers that I got to work on a few cool projects. It's a great place with a lot of creative people, but, as with any business, it's tough when all your money comes from one place. You are at the whim of the market, to a large extent. I think they suffer from a problem that many businesses face – how do you diversify without straying from your core competence?
