		<description>I still find the explosion in popularity of Facebook, and the idea of it as a platform, to be really weird.  I think of it as a more sophisticated MySpace, largely for college kids, and have trouble getting past the picture-centric perception of it.  I was actually disturbed when I saw LinkedIn&#039;s addition of the ability to add a picture, because I think of them as more professional than that.  And even so, I only just allowed myself to get into LinkedIn for real.

Yet your description of the app makes it sound cool, and makes FaceBook sound like it could indeed be the next &quot;blogging,&quot; where some will make money and most will be saying &quot;how did I miss out when THAT idiot made money&quot; in a few years.
