Repetition, especially from a single source, is also known as a brainwashing technique!! All jokes aside I have personally seen adept change leaders continously repeat their key themes - and over a period of years. Within time it becomes part of the corporate lexicon.

It's also advocated in many self-help books in the form of positive self-affirmations - i.e., repeating to oneself in the mirror that they are beautiful or intelligent.

Yeah "if you call a man a horse often enough he'll start looking for hay." Repetition is a powerful lever in modern marketing and modern propaganda. Our thinking about product and personal credibility, quality, value, convenience are all influenced by frequently repeated messages.

I find my self irresistably drawn to Businesspundit and I don't know why ...
I'm checking it every 4 minutes for a refresh ... and I don't know why. I think I want to have his babies ... even thought I'm a man.

But I can quit any time I want.
