Energy Independence is a group of products by Vista International. You do not need help by the governments to be energy independent. I know I am energy independent. I never buy gas or pay a monthly electric bill. Its that simple. Electric solar and wind systems are so affordable I don't know why gas stations or electric power companies are still in business. It makes no sense!

I believe the answer is in the article. That is it depends on how much the government is going to interfere with the free market. In a free market people would seek the best product for their money. In this case gasoline, because it is cheaper (i.e., without government subsidies), and more convenient than making your own ethanol. But clearly our government is choosing to interfere with free markets. The extent they choose to continue to interfere will determine the success of the product.
