Wind Power

The Capital Spectator has some good commentary today on wind power, and how some environmentalists aren't supporting it.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr., another self-described environmentalist, is also fighting the installation of wind farms in certain areas. In addition to the motivating factor of NIMBY-not in my backyard-Kennedy is apparently driven to act by the notion that some companies might be profiting from wind power. As he tells the Times, "I love wind energy, but let's develop some rules about how you divide up the commons. You're essentially giving the commons over to a profit-making enterprise."
