“Okaloosa County’s top tourism official stepped down under pressure Wednesday after acknowledging that he had purchased a $710,000 yacht with bed-tax money.
Mark Bellinger, who has been the head of the TDC since 2010, told county officials that he bought the boat in December as part of a promotional plan.”
No seriously I couldn’t make this stuff up.
