“A small-class consulting factory with Coca-Cola money in its walls.”

Our review
Goizueta runs one of the smallest full-time classes among ranked privates and converts the intimacy into placement: consulting firms took roughly a third of recent offers, and the school’s leadership coaching program pairs every student with an executive coach — standard at EMBAs, rare in full-time programs.
Atlanta gives it a Fortune 500 backyard, with Coke, Delta, Home Depot, and UPS in reach, and the Goizueta name still carries the founder-era Coca-Cola relationship that endowed it. U.S. News dropped the school six spots to No. 23 in 2026; its three-month placement print stayed in the mid-80s regardless. The limit is scale: a 165-person class means a network that’s deep in the Southeast and thinner everywhere else.
What impressed us
- Class size as product. 165 students, personal faculty attention, executive coaching for all.
- Atlanta anchor. A Fortune 500 metro that hires the class locally.
What gave us pause
- Scale limits. The alumni network thins fast outside the Southeast.
- Ranking whiplash. Down six to No. 23 in the 2026 U.S. News cycle.
The verdict
The best small-class MBA in the South, and a consulting springboard that outperforms its size. Go elsewhere for coastal finance density.
