This Week’s Weird Jobs

There are two ways to make a pittance. One, work hard for people who don’t pay you much. Or two, accept your pittance in exchange for room, board, and spiritual fulfillment. This week’s jobs have a bit of both:

Potential to earn like a CEO without the stress. Call for an interview

May involve drugs. Might involve stolen goods. Probably involves both. Once again–run!

3. Florida: Charity needs attorney who hates the banks

One of our donors was served Monday on a complaint by a American Express in Volusia County, FL.

We will pay for the fees. We need to respond to the complaint.

We are successful in the defense when we ask for proof of debt, such as an invoice.
We are 100% successful when we ask for a “competent fact witness” from American Express.
No witness, no affidavit of debt, no case.

* Compensation: $150+ / hr

An attorney could make a career out of hating the banks these days.

4. New Hampshire: October Jobs Are Brewing

Farm in NH is seeking applicants with a great work ethic for our Halloween events.

Those applying must be dependable, enjoy working with adults and children, offer a neat appearance, be at least 18 years of age, have own transportation and be available to work the complete event of their choosing.

These are stipend programs and not an hourly wage. Applicants are generally those who are looking for a fun experience and not a financial one.

The events are as follows:

Pumpkin Festival (daytime 9:30 am to 4:00 pm) October 3 & 4, 10 & 11, & 12 $200.00 for the complete event

Harvest of Horror (Nighttime 6 to 11 pm) October 9 & 10 & 11, 16 & 17 & 18, 23 & 24 & 25, 29 & 30 & 31 $400.00 for the complete event

For $6.66/hour–yes, that’s less than minimum wage–it better be fun. Really, really fun.
