The study of social groups, their cultures, institutions, and organizations is the provenance of the Sociologist. The field is acknowledged as a Renaissance discipline, so that when sociologists conduct research ethnographies, they may examine the origins, behaviors and interactions of a social group for in-depth analysis of economic, political or religious insights.
