Best Buy publicly donated $100,000 to MN Forward, an organization that only backs candidates who oppose gay marriage. To qualify for their funding, the candidates must also be Republican. After donating the money, Best Buy stated that the donation “is based solely on the need to help elect candidates who will make jobs and economic issues a top priority this election.”
