Concord Law School of Kaplan University Online

Concord Law School of Kaplan University is a premier provider of online legal education in the United States. Formerly called “Concord University Law School” when it first opened its virtual doors in 1998, in 2007, it formally merged with Kaplan University and became the first online law school to be a part of a regionally accredited institution of higher education. Although its headquarters are located in Los Angeles, California, all lectures and study sessions offered by Concord Law School are delivered entirely via the Internet. This innovative and flexible mode of education delivery has allowed so many students worldwide to earn their law degree regardless of where they are or how busy their personal or work schedules may be.

Accredited by the Distance Education and Training Council and a member of the International Association of Law Schools and the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, Concord has helped over a thousand students acquire their Juris Doctor (JD) or Executive Juris Doctor (EJD) degrees.

The JD program meets the minimum legal education requirement of the State Bar of California by providing its students with the skills and know-how necessary to become a qualified member of the legal profession. The EJD, on the other hand, is for individuals who want a professional law degree but do not intend to become practicing lawyers. They may simply want a better understanding of the U.S. legal system for their business or personal growth.

Cost of tuition for both the Juris Doctor and Executive Juris Doctor Degrees is US$9,984 plus a US$100 non-refundable application fee. Financial aid is extended by way of loans and military benefits.
