Bay Path College is a private undergraduate women’s college with main campus located in Longmeadow, Massachusetts. Founded in 1897, the college offers online and on-campus graduate degree programs for both men and women and Saturdays-only college for adult female students.
A member of an eight-college consortium known as the Cooperating Colleges of Greater Springfield, Bay Path has over 12,000 alumni worldwide. It offers Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts degrees for undergraduate students and, for graduate students, Master of Science in Nonprofit Management and Philanthropy; Strategic Fundraising and Philanthropy; Education; Communications and Information Management; Higher Education Administration; Forensics; Developmental Psychology; Master of Business Administration and Master of Occupational Therapy.
Bay Path Online is the college’s innovative distance learning campus that allows students from any part of the world to pursue their degrees no matter where they are. It offers a full degree program or a combination of online and on-campus classes. All online graduate degrees as well as certificate programs are handled by the same faculty that teaches on-campus students. Cost of tuition for online courses for the year 2010-2011 per credit is US$625 for graduate degrees except for MS in Forensics which is US$755 per credit and MS in Education/Special Education which is US$325 per credit. Financial aid is extended via loans, employer reimbursement and scholarships for qualified students.
Bay Path College is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, through its Commission on Institutions of Higher Education (NEASC), the American Bar Association, and the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education of the American Occupational Therapy Association.
