Bellevue University is a private, non-profit institution of higher education located in Bellevue, Nebraska. Founded by Bill Brooks and the other members of the Bellevue, Nebraska Chamber of Commerce in 1966, the university today has not only grown tremendously but is known as one of the worldwide leaders in adult education.
Accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCACS) and the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education (IACBE), Bellevue offers undergraduate and graduate degree programs on-campus and online. Actually the first to offer online degree programs in 1966, Bellevue is also the first to offer an online Master of Business Administration degree. Its first accelerated degree completion program, the Bachelor of Professional Studies, was offered in 1987.
Ranked by Leadership Excellence Magazine among the Top 20 schools in the country in developing leaders, along with Harvard, Yale and MIT, and winner of the United States Distance Learning Association’s 2007 – 21st Century Best Practice Award for its “outstanding leadership in the field of distance learning,” Bellevue’s online degree program allows over 11,000 students annually to continue or complete their higher education and pursue their Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctoral degrees wherever they are.
Cost of tuition per credit hour for undergraduate classroom-based courses is US$250 and for online courses, US$350. For graduate classes and/or programs, cost of tuition per credit hour for both regular and online classes is US$450. Depending on the course or degree chosen, certain fees may be charged in addition to tuition. Financial aid is extended in the form of loans, grants, and scholarships to qualified and deserving students.
