Lancaster Bible College and Graduate School (LBC), founded in 1933, is a non-denominational Bible college with the mission of “educating Christian men and women to live according to a biblical world view and to serve through professional Christian ministries.”
LBC offers both graduate and undergraduate programs and have a good selection of delivery methods for adult learners who enroll at their Degree Completion Program. LBC’s Degree Completion Program offers the Bachelor of Science in Bible Degree as the primary option for that program. Another option offered is LBC’s Concentrated Bible Certificate. Students that enroll in the DCP have to option to take on-campus courses or online courses. Those who want the online program use LBC’s online education system called LBCOnline.
Admission requirements for all DCP programs include:
– Minimum age of 25
– Application form with autobiography showing commitment to Jesus Christ as personal Savior
– $25 application fee
– Pastor’s reference
Applicants to the BS in Bible Degree Completion must also submit the transcript from previous bachelor’s degree (completed and not completed). A GPA of 2.0 is also required.
Estimated monthly tuition for online programs is $662/month.
Financial aid is available at LBC for DCP students in the form of Federal aid (grants and loans), State grants, payment plans, and LBC scholarships. Scholarships available to DCP students are the Church Matching Scholarship, Financial Need Scholarship, and Full-Time Christian Worker Scholarship.
LBC is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools (MSA) and by the Association for Biblical Higher Education (ABHE).
