Lesley University, located in Cambridge. Massachusetts, was established in 1909 as an institution focused in the professional instruction for kindergarten teachers. Currently the university offers a much wider range of programs in 23 states and online, but is still very much known for its expertise in providing education to teachers. It is also ranked as a tier 1 university and holds the 77th spot in US News and World Report’s recently released 2011 “Guide to America’s Best Colleges”.
Lesley University offers online degree and certificate programs. It has an adult degree completion program in Business Management and several graduate programs in Education and Environmental Studies. Currently its online certificate programs include Advanced Professional Certificate programs in Autism Spectrum Disorders and Online Teaching.

Tuition for online programs at Lesley is currently listed at $370 per credit for undergraduate courses and $500 per credit for graduate level courses. Most online programs also require an additional $30 technology fee.

Lesley University is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges. Many of its individual programs also have specialized accreditation and approvals.
