Washing State University (WSU or Wazzu) was founded in 1890 and is the state’s original and largest land-grant university. It confers bachelor’s, master’s, professional and doctoral degrees in more than 200 fields of study. US News ranks it among the top half of national universities and, the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching considers WSU as one of 96 public and private universities in the United States with “very high research activity”. Tuition fees for WSU’s online programs range from $404.00 per credit hour to $443.00 per credit hour. Rates vary depending on the number of credit units taken and the course being taken. Tuition fee discounts are available to Washington Residents students who are active member of the US Military. Other financial aid options are available and information on aid eligibility can be requested from the WSU Financial Aid office.
