Follow your curiosity

Larry Page, American computer scientist and co-founder of Google Inc., spoke at Univeristy of Michigan in 2009. He spoke to graduating students in a way that seemed a bit unusual for commencement speakers. He stated that this is the time in your life to be crazy, follow your curiosity and most importantly, follow your dreams because the world needs you.

Have passion and tenacity

Steve Ballmer, former CEO of Microsoft and owner of the Los Angeles Clippers, spoke at the University of Southern California in 2011. In his speech, he focuses on irrepressibility. He states that passion is the ability to get excited about something, but having irrepressibility and tenacity is being able to stick to what you’re doing.
