American Sentinel University is a private university offering online degree and certificate programs in information technology, business, and healthcare. It is accredited by the Distance Education and Training Council. The Accrediting Commission of the Distance Education and Training Council is listed by the U.S. Department of Education as a nationally recognized accrediting agency and is a recognized member of the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.
Formed in February 2006 through the merging of operations of three nationally accredited learning institutions – the American Graduate School of Management, Sentinel University, and the American College of Computer and Information Sciences – the American Sentinel University today, with headquarters in Denver, Colorado, offers over 20 online degree programs that allow students to pursue their Associate, Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral degrees online without worrying about distance or work schedules that would normally inhibit them from pursuing their higher education.
Admission to the online university is easy. There is no residency required and the study formats are flexible so that they can fit into the students’ busy schedules and the students are able to pursue their online degrees and certificate programs with zero stress.
Cost of tuition for the online courses vary depending on the chosen program. Total tuition for Associate Programs range from US$4,800 to US$19,200 depending on the number of transfer credits. For Bachelor’s Programs, total tuition ranges from US$9,600 to US$38,400 while for Nursing degree program the cost is US$10,200. For Master’s, tuition ranges from US$6,930 to US$13,860 for technolgy programs; US$7,560 to US$15,120 for business and healthcare programs; and US$7,380 to US$14,760 for a Master’s degree in nursing. Tuition cost for doctorate programs is US$22,680.
To help defray cost of tuition, the university extends financial assistance via flexible payment plans, employer reimbursements and student loans.
